I stood in the front courtyard of the Federal Courthouse: J. Waites Waring Judicial Center on Meeting Street.  I was captivated by the beautiful fountain there and never paid much attention to it before this.  As I looked for a spot that had good light to paint the fountain, I found that a glorious view of St Michaels Church could also be added to the scene.  In light of the fact that it was mid-term election voting day, and the fact that a representation of God's glory stood behind the Federal Court's fountain posing in an elegant and submissive pose, I thought the title, "In Honor & Deference" seemed fitting.
