This lady was a dear sweet friend of mine with whom I used to pray and study the Bible.  She was so delicate and beautiful and yet was a strong as steal.  Her soft spoken, gentle spirit was, to me, a source of encouraging strength. 

Her clear skin glowed and she was blessed with perfect features which inspired me to ask if she would mind sitting for portrait.  She came over and we had the best time fellowshipping that I hardly finished her painting - thoughts of completing it later always lurking. 

We never got the chance to finish this up and she moved away.  I haven't heard from her in the past 21 years since this painting but I think of her often.  I am grateful for this little sketch of her to keep and reflect back on our wonderful times together.
